Hi there,
1) Is day trip Seoul Soearaksan Seoul possible?
I’d like to make a daytrip to soraksan from Insadong for my family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults.) Is the drive from Seoul to the park very windy? I’m concerned because my husband has bad vertigo driving up tortuous roads but I really want to go.
Thank you so much for the info! I have been wanting to do Seoraksan for a while now but live in Uijeongbu. Is there a direct bus from the Uijeongbu Bus Terminal, or do I have to backtrack from Dong Seoul?
Hi all,
I just made the trio to seoraksan. This article was very helpful to me. Just for the info, the bus fare from dongseoul to sokcho intercity bus terminal now is 17300. And the local bus 7-1 to seoraksan is 1200.
Trip to seoraksan in one day is possible, as long as you depart as early as in the morning from seoul, take subway to Gangbyeon, and take the first or second bus from dongseoul (6.25 am, cmiiw). And you should get off from seoraksan around 7pm, and take intercity bus from sokcho around 8pm. Although the last bus from sokcho to dongseoul is 11pm (but the fare is 19000).
Hi dongga, what views can you recommend for a one day trip in Seoraksan?
Thanks
Hi, I am coming from Seoul to Sokcho in the afternoon, and would like to start the Seoraksan Dinosaur Ridge track early the next morning. How late do the buses run from Sokcho to the Seoraksan Gate Entrance, and is there accommodation close to the park entrance where I can stay the night before the hike?
Hi Everyone,
We will be going to Seoraksan on Sept. 24th, do you have any idea on the entrance fees/ cable car rides there?
Also, we wanted to try a short trail after we come back from the peak (via cable car), is it a good idea? Do they have schedule of cable cars going back to the starting point at any time? Would really love to know all about these.
Thank you in advance!
